Scheibler Calcimeter

The Scheibler Calcimeter is designed on the basis of the volumetric measurement method to determine the percentage of carbonate in the soil. In this method, the carbonate in the sample is converted into Co2 gas by adding hydrochloric acid and the resulting gas pressure. Suitable for the simultaneous determination of the carbonate content in 1 or 5 samples simultaneously. The ergonomics and stability of the design improve safety when dealing with hydrochloric acid.
the technician does not need a balloon to keep the CO2 separated from the water (ie to prevent any gas from dissolving in the water). This greatly improves the accuracy of the measurement results.
